In 2013, I took a sabbatical from the Film/TV world to be a stay-at-home mom. I didn't want to miss one minute of my little girl growing up. Tales from a Castle was born in 2018 but didn't become a reality online until 2020. It grew out of my passion for sewing costumes. I needed a creative outlet for my sewing while still focusing on my family. Doll clothing for American Girl, Our Generation, and Journey Girls was a natural place to start since my daughter loves her dolls and always asks for clothing and costumes for them. I make all of the doll clothing. I'm a one-woman show, and each item is handmade. I take satisfaction in creating doll clothes that are functional and made well but also fashionable and pretty. All designs are tested by my daughter first for her stamp of approval. I also make machine-embroidered ornaments and jewelry that are quite unique.
We are a Christian Conservative Patriot family. We believe in God and lead a Christian lifestyle. We believe in the Constitution as the Highest Law in this Republic, but God's Law supersedes all. We are first teaching our children about God's love and grounding them in what Freedom in Christ really means.
