Bluebonnet Miniature American Shepherds was established in 2017 near Stephenville, Texas. My background includes many years working for a veterinarian practice. Being a dog lover all my life, this seemed a natural choice after retirement. Years after losing a dog that was very special to me, I knew that there were specific characteristics I wanted in my next dog. I wanted an intelligent, devoted, loving, and beautiful dog. I chose a relatively new breed, the Miniature American Shepherd. Soon after, I knew I had to share this beautiful experience with others. These dogs are amazing!
One of my highest priorities is temperament. I breed for companionship and not working lines. I strive for a pet who will acclimate well to being in your home but will still enjoy walking, hiking, and playing.
Your puppy will be examined by a licensed veterinarian, vaccinated, wormed, and come with a health guarantee as outlined in our contract. My puppy's parents are AKC registered and have been evaluated by OFA. They have been genetically tested for health risks that can affect your puppy.
