Bags of a Feather offers various bags, purses, fabric storage bins, zipper pouches, and other fabric creations. My shop specializes in rare bird and parrot fabrics, as well as batiks, florals, patriotic fabrics, and other colorful prints. My inspiration comes from the birds and the natural world around us, and I love working with colorful designer fabrics and unique prints.
All products are hand-crafted from the highest-quality materials, such as American-made cotton, YKK zippers, and Pellon interfacing. Everything is constructed with extra steps, such as finished seams, reinforced stitching, and colorful lining materials.

I have made everything from clothing to teddy bears, fake-fur stuffed chairs, and wedding dresses, and I worked briefly as a professional seamstress. I am a self-taught quilter with eight full and queen-size quilts completed (mostly hand-quilted). I calculated that I have logged over 20,000 hours of sewing time in the years I have followed my passion for sewing.
